Three Services,
Each with a Clear Purpose

Each Teguh service is designed for a specific stage of the retirement entitlement journey — from first understanding your position, to correcting errors, to protecting your family's arrangements.

Our Approach

How We Structure Each Engagement

Every matter at Teguh follows a similar pattern: we begin by reading carefully, then explaining clearly, then acting methodically. Nothing is rushed past you, and nothing is done without you understanding what it means.

We keep written records throughout. At the end of each engagement, you hold a complete, organised set of documents relevant to your situation. Not a folder of photocopies — a structured record you can use and refer back to.

Review: We read your documents carefully before drawing any conclusions.

Explain: We sit down with you and describe what we've found in plain terms.

Act: Where action is needed, we proceed methodically and keep you informed.

Deliver: You receive a complete written record of the engagement and its outcome.

Service 1

Retirement Entitlement Health Check

RM 600 per engagement

A friendly first step for those nearing retirement who want to understand their position. We review EPF (KWSP) statements and pension records, then explain in plain words what your entitlements look like. Includes a written overview and a relaxed consultation to answer questions. The aim is clarity and peace of mind, with the choice of how to proceed left entirely to you.

This service suits people who are five to ten years from retirement age, recently retired and wanting to confirm their entitlements are correct, or simply uncertain about what they've accumulated and what it means.

What's included:

  • Review of EPF (KWSP) statement and contribution history
  • Review of any available pension determination or projection documents
  • Written overview of entitlements in plain language
  • One-to-one consultation (in person or by phone/video)
  • Q&A — all questions answered before we close

EPF and pension review service

Process Steps

1

You share your EPF statement and any pension documents with us (in person or securely by email).

2

We review the materials carefully and prepare a written summary of what we find.

3

We meet (or speak by phone) to walk through the summary together and answer questions.

4

You keep the written overview — the next steps, if any, are entirely your decision.

Pension appeal support service

Process Steps

1

We review the original determination and any related documentation to assess the basis for an appeal.

2

We explain what we find and confirm whether an appeal appears well-founded — honestly, either way.

3

We prepare the appeal letter and assemble supporting documentation for submission.

4

We submit and correspond with the administering body, keeping you updated at each stage.

Service 2

Pension Decision Appeal Support

RM 1,240 per engagement

Measured assistance for retirees who believe a pension or withdrawal decision was made in error. Scope covers reviewing the determination, preparing a considered appeal, assembling documentation, and corresponding with the administering body on your behalf. We keep matters calm and well-organised, updating you in clear terms throughout.

This service is suited to people who have received a pension determination they question, been told their qualifying service period or benefit amount is lower than expected, or had a withdrawal application declined or restricted in a way that doesn't seem right.

What's included:

  • Review and analysis of the original determination
  • Assessment of appeal grounds and likelihood
  • Drafting of appeal letter and supporting materials
  • Correspondence with EPF, KWAP, or relevant authority
  • Regular, plain-language updates on progress

Service 3

Family Pension Continuity Service

RM 1,900 per engagement

A thorough engagement for households who wish to secure survivor and dependant pension arrangements well in advance. Suited to those with both public-scheme and private retirement provisions. Includes full documentation of derivative pension entitlements, guidance for dependants, and a consolidated record prepared with care for your family's future reference.

This service is particularly suited to households where one or both spouses hold pensionable government positions, families with young dependants who would be affected by a member's passing, and people approaching retirement who want these matters resolved before they're needed.

What's included:

  • Review of public and private retirement scheme entitlements
  • Documentation of derivative pension entitlements for spouse and dependants
  • Guidance notes prepared specifically for family members
  • Consolidated family record covering all relevant provisions
  • Consultation with household members as needed

Across All Services

Shared Standards and Protocols

Confidential Handling

All documents you share are handled in line with professional confidentiality obligations. Data is stored securely and not shared with third parties without your agreement.

Malaysian Legal Compliance

All advice reflects current Malaysian pension and employment legislation. We follow Malaysian Bar Council professional standards across every matter.

Written Deliverables

Every engagement concludes with a written document you retain — not just verbal advice. This is standard across all three services without exception.

Realistic Timelines

We tell you upfront how long a matter typically takes. Health checks usually complete within one to two weeks. Appeal timelines depend on the administering body and are explained clearly.

No Obligation After Review

If we review your matter and find nothing requires attention, we say so plainly. There is no incentive for us to manufacture work where none is needed.

Follow-Up Welcome

Questions that arise after an engagement are welcome. We don't close a matter and walk away. You can return with follow-up points or changed circumstances.
